Red Dragon has roots in Africa and as such understands the benefits and complexities of the mining industry. Mining is only profitable on large scale – as is farming – it is very capital intensive and the cost of labour in Africa is not as cheap as commonly supposed.

Our exposure to this sector is limited to syndicated equity structures and joint ventures but may expand considerably in the near future with input from Chinese state owned enterprises implementing their One Belt One Road objectives.
